  • Are you a passionate individual with a keen eye for detail and a love for vintage paper items like comic books, trading cards, magazines, and game packaging? We have an exciting opportunity for a contract Collectibles Conservation Manager to join our team onsite in Atlanta, where you'll play a crucial role in preserving and restoring these cherished collectibles. If you love pop culture and want to help in dry cleaning and light repairs for vintage paper, we want to hear from you!

    Responsibilities:

    Assist in organizing, photographing and executing projects for customers related to collectibles cleaning, pressing and grading.

    Perform dry cleaning on vintage paper items such as comic books, magazines, and game packaging to remove dust, dirt, and stains without compromising their integrity.

    Assit with light repairs to reinforce fragile pages, fix minor tears, and mend damaged corners while respecting the original craftsmanship.

    Collaborate with our team to implement conservation techniques that maintain the historical value and authenticity of each item.

    Adhere to ethical and professional standards in handling, storing, and documenting the conservation process.

    Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in conservation practices and technologies to continuously improve the quality of work.

    Requirements:

    Bachelor's degree in Art, Graphic Design, Conservation, Art Restoration, or a related field preferred, but not mandatory. Equivalent experience will be considered.

    Demonstrable aptitude in paper conservation, especially with vintage paper items like comic books, magazines, and game packaging.

    Ability to handle fragile items with care and attention to detail.

    Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.

    Position: Social Media Manager

    Location: This position is available for a combo of remote work and on-site work at our Atlanta headquarters.

    Contract Duration: To be determined based on the candidate's availability and project requirements.

    Responsibilities:

    Develop and execute a video-first social media strategy across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn to engage our audience with weekly success stories, before-and-after transformations, and valuable tips & tricks.

    Create and schedule regular shorts, reels and stories that highlight our company's expertise, services, and the tangible results of our conservation efforts.

    Collaborate with our team daily to showcase our processes, cultural impact, and the mythology behind the collectibles we preserve.

    Assist in the creation and distribution of newsletters that provide insights, company news, and industry trends to our subscribers.

    Help craft compelling messages and contribute to promotional materials for trade shows and other events, enhancing our visibility and engagement within the collector, dealer & investment communities.

    Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics to guide strategy adjustments and improve engagement.

    Requirements:

    Proven experience as a video-smart Social Media Manager or similar role, with a portfolio that demonstrates expertise in video content creation and engagement-growing social media strategy.

    Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with an ability to tell compelling stories visually and textually.

    Experience with graphic design, video editing, and content management systems.

    Knowledge of or interest in vintage paper collectibles, comic books, and preservation techniques is a major plus.

    Ability to work independently and in a team, managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

    Familiarity with analytics tools and the ability to use data to inform strategies.
