“My experience was excellent. Met the Comic Presser team at Hero’s Con. They were kind and knowledgeable. After the show I sent in my first book. Communication was excellent. Sending a $4000 comic to someone you really don’t know besides a quick meeting at a con and following their instagram, is a bit nerve racking. But the Comic Presser’s team did an excellent job of keeping me up to date on during the process. They did fantastic work, sent before and after photos, and really made my book look great. After a quick trip to CGC, they took my Hulk 181 from a 7.5 to an 8.5. If you think your books have room to improve, I truly believe they will get everything out of your book possible. I’ve tried different pressers over the years and this is the most professional experience with the best results I’ve ever had. Thank you!”

“This is the most unusual review you will read on the internet. I took a chance and bought a copy of X-Men #266 that was advertised as having severe water damage and mold. If anything was worth a try it would be this book. So I submitted my first ever comic for a deep clean and press. After my book arrived the staff called me and floored me with their honesty. They said if I wanted they would perform the clean and press. However they said this book was so damaged by mold that it was not going to be significantly improved. They offered me a full refund minus the shipping cost to return the book to me. In this day and age that floored me for a company to be that honest and up front with a customer. It proved to me instantly that they cared and weren’t just trying to make a buck. Yes the refund arrived with no problems. So now I am checking my collection for another book to submit to them soon. If they care that much as to not take my money then I can only imagine how good a job they must do on the actual clean and presses!”

“I sent 3 books for dry clean and pressing. I also asked a few questions regarding deep cleaning, stamp removal, and staple repair. The initial email response was quick and informative. I then received a phone call shortly thereafter that clarified what was feasible and reasonable to do to the books (one book had deep cleaning added). I cannot be happier with the communication and results. I will definitely be sending more of my comic books to Comicpresser for cleaning and pressing.”

“I have a silver age key that had a detached centerfold. I really didn’t want a restored grade for this book. I discussed this with Barry, and when he was also able to evaluate my book, he suggested trying to try reattaching the wrap with the least invasive procedure. More aggressive actions could be left to future work. I wholeheartedly agree. Today, my book is gorgeous and I am very happy with it. While the wrap couldn’t be fully reattached (not enough paper at the top staple) it is as good as it can be without going the next step to either a tear seal or a married wrap. So I feel that at every step, he has worked with me and looked to achieve the best value for my books. I can definitely recommend ComicPresser to care for your comics because Barry treats these with all the care as if he owned the books himself. Great service.”

“You Guys Are The Best! The ASM #129 went from an estimated grade of 8.0 to a CGC 9.4 after you cleaned & pressed. I had 2 copies of Bloodstone #1 that were very nice but the back covers were dirty, so I sent them to CGC to be cleaned & pressed. They came back from CGC with the same dirty back covers I paid them to clean, and they were graded 9.2 & 9.6. I had Comicpresser.com clean & press them and re-submitted them. Both came back CGC graded 9.8. Other books you worked on for me had similar results. Sending more books to you soon!”

“Can’t speak highly enough of this service! Affordable rates, turnaround times were spot on, and communication was great throughout. Just got my books back from CGC and the results were way better than I expected. Of the 16 books I had Comicpresser work on, 9 came back 9.8 (!) and 6 came back 9.6. And these were not super-modern books either. Very impressed! Will continue using Barry and co. moving forward with my submissions.”

“The Spawn [results] surprised me. I’ve had that book since I was eleven, nabbing off a magazine rack nearly 30 years ago in the small North Dakota town I grew up in. Like most of the comics I got as a kid, it’s a newsstand edition rather than direct edition. And for one solid day, I had the highest graded Spawn #50 newsstand edition in CGC’s database! The only other CGC 9.8 showed up the following day, but, as of this writing, there are still only two.”

“I was looking for a service to clean/press/slab my estimated 4.0 low grade childhood copy of X-Men #94 with foxing stains on the covers. I met Barry in person and he recommended a deep clean in addition to pressing before grading submission. The pressing and deep clean work was beyond immaculate and I’m very happy to say the book came back from CGC with a 6.0 blue label, NO restoration plus a higher than expected grade! I highly recommend Comic Presser if you want a top professional service for all your cleaning and pressing needs!”

“Overall, an excellent experience! Barry and his team significantly improved my book’s overall presentation by carefully removing decades of soiling and pressing out several defects that prevented an otherwise amazing copy of Marvel Super-Hereos 20 from looking its best. All of this was done in a manner that did not seek to over-correct and make the book look artificial or out of place for the time period, which helped the book not only retain its universal blue label but also bumped the grade up a level, which ended up being an ancillary benefit. All-in-all, I would highly recommend that you check out the Comicpresser if you require cleaning and pressing services on books of any era.”

“They deep cleaned X-men 50 for me. It was my favorite cover in my collection, but had tanning at the top (including on the 1st ever block style X-men logo) and other stains on it. After the work was done, the book looks way better than before and somehow, the tanning was removed. I’m very happy with the results.”
