We use diverse cleaning materials, tools & methods to conserve your comics.

Erasure is a significant component of our dry cleaning process in white & select color areas.

We also use conservation-friendly (non-restorative) techniques to clean color areas by removing grime, debris, tanning, foxing, stains, added inks and residue that can attach to comic surfaces over time.

Deep cleaning techniques may include light treatment, stain transfer or de-acidification.

At this stage we may also add other conservation steps including tape removal, tear seals, staple fixes and spine roll removal.
