Frank Frazetta is known as the godfather of fantasy art, but he came from a background in comic books and comic strips. This video charts his journey from Golden Age comic books at places like EC Comics to working for Al Capp on Li'l Abner to a surprise turn to Hollywood and fantasy art. His painted work all started because of one illustration but lead to Frazetta creating the visual look for Conan, painting movie posters for Clint Eastwood, and much more.
